Madison Magnet is pleased to be a community partner of the First Annual Emerge Gala, which will be hosted by the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals on March 29, 2014. The Emerge Gala will bring outstanding young professional leaders together for an evening to celebrate our many contributions to our community. Recognized at the event will be extraordinary young professionals who are excelling in their chosen professions, a community leader who has impacted the young professional community through mentoring and creation of growth opportunities, as well as one area employer representing the best place for young professionals to work. 2014 EMERGE GALA NOMINATIONS TRAILBLAZER: These awards will be presented to young professionals who are growing and excelling in their respective fields and who have shown leadership within their company and industry. IMPACT AWARD: This award will be presented to a community leader who has established a record of consistent outreach to young professionals in the Greater Madison area. Such an individual invests time in the professional growth and development of young professionals to help them realize their full potential. EMERGING LEADER OF THE YEAR: This award will be presented to a young professional who exemplifies the qualities and characteristics of an exceptional leader in our community. Such an individual will not only be growing and excelling in his or her respective field, but is currently influencing the growth, prosperity and quality of life in the Greater Madison area through community involvement. WORKPLACE EXCELLENCE AWARD: This award will be presented to a business that represents the best place for young professionals to work in the Greater Madison area. Such business will have a demonstrated record of commitment to the development of young professionals, adopts work-life friendly policies, and values generational differences that attract and retain young professionals.
