November Happy Hour: Ale Asylum ft. UW Master of Science in Biotechnology Program

During the 2012 move to their current location, this staple Madison brewery expanded to 45,000 square feet, producing 17,000 barrels of beer in 2012 alone and added 100 new barrel fermentation and conditioning vessels to their original fleet. You see their beers sold at restaurants all around Madison, but have you actually been to their brewery space before or tried any of their seasonal brews? Now is your chance! Featured Organization: Established in 2002, the Master of Science in Biotechnology at UW-Madison is a two-year cross-disciplinary program for scientists, technical professionals, business strategists and attorneys seeking to advance their career in the biotechnology industry without having to put their career on hold. The hands-on curriculum focuses on the development and commercialization of new technologies and provides a diverse mix of science, business, bioethics, regulatory policy and patent law. Students are instructed by world-renowned scholars and leading industry professionals in the biotechnology field.
