Brown Bag Lunch: City's Economic Development Plan
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 28th Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, 33 E Main St # 300, Madison
What types of jobs would you like to see created in Madison? What suggestions would you offer for making Madison an even more livable, innovative, vibrant and economically flexible community?
The City of Madison is creating a 3-5 year Economic Development Plan designed to improve the economic well being of our community. The focus is on job creation, tax base growth and quality of life enhancements to shape Madison as the preeminent urban center in the south central region of Wisconsin.
Young professionals should be key participants in this process. The mission of MAGNET and the Economic Development Plan go hand in hand. We want to recruit and retain young talent – and this plan wants the City to create jobs and a vibrant City. Without the dynamic workforce to fill those jobs, it would be difficult to implement a successful plan.
Matthew B. Mikolajewski of the City of Madison Office of Business Resources will be presenting the City’s vision and the logistics of the process. Please take this opportunity to participate in shaping the economic future of Madison.
Hosted by: Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. and Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek Government Affairs L.L.C.
Lunch will provided to members at no cost. RSVP to director@madisonmagnet.org.
Non-members cost is $10.
